TELFORD RESIDENTS KEPT IN THE LOOP ABOUT LAWLEY

If you were one of the 380 people who attended the latest consultation event hosted by the Lawley Developer Group (LDG) you’ll be pleased to know the dedicated website has been updated to answer questions and comments raised by members of the local community.

By logging on to www.lawley.info residents can now quickly and easily find the answers to their questions about plans to build 3,300 homes in the area, whether it’s points of concern about traffic and highways, the local community or the development as a whole.

Neville Stebbing, director for the LDG and Chair of the Steering Group said: "Hundreds of residents took the time to attend the consultation and ask constructive questions and make insightful comments and we are now in a position to answer their enquiries and share with them how our plans will affect them, the existing community."

"Local residents continue to play a fundamental role in shaping the progress of the project which is why it is so important for us to maintain a dialogue with them."

For residents who aren‘t able to access the internet, the information is also available at the Lawley Community Centre and in addition, details will be included in the next Lawley newsletter which will be distributed to more than 1,000 members of the Telford community.

The LDG is currently planning the next information event, to take place at Lawley Community Centre on Saturday 23rd September. Please keep an eye on local press for further details
